We built DJpaneel. Then we built the system for the years ahead.
DJpaneel is the legacy system ON AIR TOOL grew out of. The same makers put a more powerful, stronger, newer and more stable platform in place: the most complete system for radio stations and community broadcasters, ready for what comes next.

The makers of DJpaneel
ON AIR TOOL does not come from a company looking at the old panel from a distance. We built DJpaneel and know the daily work of the stations that used it.
DJpaneel is legacy
DJpaneel was the system of the previous generation: the broadcast, requests and the link to the website. It carried stations for years. The successor is ON AIR TOOL.
More powerful and more stable
ON AIR TOOL is newly built. One platform for the schedule, content, website, apps and live contact. Fewer loose links, and a firmer base to broadcast on.
The most complete system
Station management, a full website, branded apps with CarPlay, Android Auto and Chromecast, and ON AIR ID for chat and voice messages. That no longer sits across separate tools.
Bring your panel with you
Import programs, the schedule, team, streams, news and featured music from DJpaneel. Per part, without duplicates when you add something later.
Ready for what is next
Built for how stations work now: on the site, in the app, in the car and in the studio. And for what you need next season, because the platform grows with broadcasters.
DJpaneel is where ON AIR TOOL came from
For years radio stations ran their broadcast with DJpaneel. The schedule, programs, requests and the widgets on the website came from that panel. For many broadcasters in the Netherlands and Belgium it was the fixed place to start the day.
We are the makers of that system. We saw up close what worked, and where stations got stuck once a broadcast was no longer only a stream and a website plugin. Listeners expect an app. The studio expects one inbox. The website has to match what is actually on air.
That is why ON AIR TOOL is not a shell around DJpaneel. It is the system we built next: newer, more powerful, and set up as the place a station can rely on for the years ahead.
A stronger platform, not a patch on the old one
DJpaneel did what it was made for. The radio around it changed. Stations want their own website without a stack of plugins, an app with their own name, and listeners who can reach the studio while the show is on.
ON AIR TOOL is that step. It is more stable because the station, website and app share the same data. It is more complete because planning, content, requests, charts, WEB1, the mobile apps and ON AIR ID sit in one environment. And it is stronger because it was designed to keep growing, not to keep patching the old panel.
If you know DJpaneel, you will recognise the core: you stay in control of the broadcast. The difference is the reach. What you change is on air, on the site and in the app. Including CarPlay, Android Auto and Chromecast on Android, and a listener who can chat or send a voice message with an ON AIR ID.
- One dashboard for station, website and apps
- WEB1 as a full website, not a loose plugin
- Branded iOS and Android apps
- ON AIR ID for live chat and voice messages
- Station API on Pro for your own integrations
Move across without starting over
A new system is only useful if your work can come with you. In ON AIR TOOL you connect the old panel with the panel name and the licence key. Then you import, per part, what you need.
You bring across news, featured music, streams, programs, the weekly schedule and team members. Programs first, then the schedule, gives the cleanest result. Importing again does not create duplicates. You can add a part later that you skipped the first time.
The history of your station stays usable, while day-to-day work continues on ON AIR TOOL. No manual retyping of a whole season of programs.

Built for what stations ask of software now
The bar is higher than a panel next to the mixer. A station has to be right online, available in the car, and give listeners a way to reach the studio. ON AIR TOOL is built for that, by the people who made DJpaneel.
It is the most complete system we have put in place for broadcasters: more powerful than the legacy panel, more stable in the daily workflow, and ready for the next step of your station. If something is missing, we build it together with the broadcasters who use it.
Still on DJpaneel and want to know what the move means for your station? We will look at your panel, your site and your app with you.
